Triphala has been used as Ayurvedic medicine. It is a mix of the dried fruits of three Indian plants, i.e. Amla, Harad, and Bahera considered a polyherbal medicine. All three plants are highly nutritious and beneficial to health, but when combined, the liver has a close relationship with Agni (digestive fire) and Pitta dosha, according to Ayurveda. Any imbalance in Agni and Pitta dosha causes liver damage, their effects get doubled and have a more significant impact on the body’s healthy physiological functioning
